Unemployment rates were lower in April 2022 than a year earlier in 388 of the 389 metropolitan areas and higher in Yuma, Arizona (1.5 percentage points). The largest over-the-year unemployment rate decrease occurred in El Centro, California (−5.9 percentage points).
