Employment in health care increased 2.5 percent over the year ending October 2019

Employment in health care increased 2.5 percent over the year ending October 2019, while employment in social assistance increased 3.5 percent. Leisure and hospitality employment increased by 2.4 percent over the same 12 months, with most jobs added in accommodation and food services. Employment increased 1.9 percent in professional and business services and 1.3 percent in financial activities over the last 12 months.
