Adams County, Colorado, has largest 12-month employment increase, June 2019

From June 2018 to June 2019, employment increased in 279 of the 355 largest U.S. counties. Adams County, Colorado, part of the Denver metropolitan area, had the largest over-the-year increase in employment with a gain of 5.3 percent. Richmond County, New York (Staten Island); Williamson County, Texas; and Utah County, Utah, tied for the second largest percent increase in employment, at 3.9 percent.

Average weekly wages in Benton County, Arkansas, were $1,197 in the second quarter of 2019, up 16.3 percent from the second quarter of 2018. During the same period, average weekly wages were $2,430, in San Francisco County, California, an increase of 15.5 percent.
