Virginia added 14,100 jobs in December 2016

In December 2016, 5 states had statistically significant over-the-month decreases in nonfarm payroll employment and three states had significant increases. The significant job gains occurred in Virginia (+14,100, or +0.4 percent), Minnesota (+11,900, or +0.4 percent), and Arizona (+8,400, or +0.3 percent).
