The Injuries, Illnesses, and Fatalities (IIF) program at the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports a wide range of information about workplace injuries and illnesses.
IIF data can be separated into fatal and nonfatal data. Nonfatal data is gathered through the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (SOII), a survey sent to private and public sector establishments each year, while the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI) provides a comprehensive count of all fatal workplace injuries.
