Prices for going out and staying in

November 30, 2016

As the seasons change, many people shift from outdoor recreational activities to other forms of entertainment. Some enjoy going out to football games, movies, and theater performances; others enjoy curling up with a good book or watching movies at home. Prices for these forms of entertainment have all increased over the past several years, but at different rates. From October 2010 to October 2016, prices for admission to sporting events were up 24 percent, while prices for recreational reading materials rose 8.8 percent.
