The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers increased 2.0 percent from February 2012 to February 2013.

Used cars and trucks
The index for all items less food and energy also rose 2.0 percent over the last 12 months; the food index rose 1.6 percent, and the energy index rose 2.3 percent.
The index for medical care increased 3.1 percent from February 2012 to February 2013, as did the index for transportation services. The apparel index rose 2.4 percent over the year, and the index for shelter rose 2.3 percent.
The Consumer Price Index for new vehicles rose 1.1 percent from February 2012 to February 2013, while the index for used cars and trucks edged down (-0.2 percent) over the year.
