Notes: From 2011 to 2014, 109 total workplace fatalities occurred to educators. Of the 27 percent of violent injuries, 14 percent were injury by other person—unintentional or intent unknown, 41 percent intentional injury by other person, and 45 percent self-inflicted injury—intentional. Percentages may not add up to 100 because of rounding and data exclusion of nonclassifiable responses.
