Import prices drop 0.3% in May on lower fuel and nonfuel prices; export prices down 0.2%


Prices for U.S. imports fell 0.3 percent in May following a 0.1-percent rise in April. U.S. export prices decreased 0.2 percent in May, after advancing 0.1 percent in April. Import prices declined 1.5 percent over the past 12 months and export prices fell 0.7 percent.
