Import prices rise 0.2% in July on higher fuel prices; export prices advance 0.2%

U.S. import prices rose 0.2 percent in July, after dropping 1.1 percent in June. Prices for U.S. exports increased 0.2 percent in July following a 0.6-percent drop in June. Import prices decreased 1.8 percent over the past year and export prices fell 0.9 percent.
