U.S. import prices unchanged in January, fuel prices down 2.2%; export prices rise 0.7%

U.S. import prices were unchanged in January, after advancing 0.2 percent in December. Prices for U.S. exports increased 0.7 percent in January following a 0.2-percent decline in December. Over the past year, import prices rose 0.3 percent and export prices increased 0.5 percent.
