Real weekly earnings up 3.9 percent for year ending March 2021

Real average hourly earnings for all private nonfarm employees increased 1.5 percent from March 2020 to March 2021. The increase in real average hourly earnings combined with a 2.3-percent increase in the average workweek resulted in a 3.9-percent increase in real average weekly earnings over the year.
