CPI Errata Notice

On the afternoon of Thursday, February 2, 2012, the CPI Database for Average Price Data was updated to correct errors in average prices for Fuel oil #2 per gallon (3.785 liters) for the months of November and December 2011. The CPI Detailed Report for November 2011 was reissued with an errata notice to indicate the error in table P1. The CPI Detailed Report (complete text and tables) for December 2011 was issued for the first time, and is correct.

The corrections result from errors found in the November and December 2011 prices for New York-New Jersey-Long Island, NY-NJ-CT-PA, Northeast Size B/C, and Cincinnati-Hamilton, OH-KY-IN, Fuel oil #2 per gallon (3.785 liters).
