1 The Arkansas, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, and Texas legislatures did not meet in 1996. The Oregon legislature met in special session only and did not enact any labor legislation. Guam and Nebraska did not enact significant legislation in the fields covered by this article. Information about the Virgin Islands was not received in time to be included in the article, which is based on information received as of December 5, 1996.
