Corrections to Diffusion Indexes for January 2003 through June 2003

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has corrected diffusion indexes for January 2003 through June 2003. The indexes are derived from the Current Employment Statistics (CES) survey estimates for the total private and the manufacturing sectors. The affected series include:

• diffusion indexes, 1-month span, seasonally adjusted (CES0500000021, CES3000000021)
• diffusion indexes, 3-month span, seasonally adjusted, (CES0500000022, CES3000000022)
• diffusion indexes, 6-month span, seasonally adjusted (CES0500000023, CES3000000023)

Corrected data can be accessed using either the links above or the tools found under "Get Detailed CES Statistics" on the CES home page.

No other CES data have been corrected.
