BLS Strategic PlanThe BLS Strategic Plan is part of the Department of Labor Strategic Plan. As a Federal statistical agency, BLS must have a clearly defined mission and a commitment to the principles of policy relevance, credibility among data users, and trust among data providers and data subjects to effectively operate. In the FY 2006-2011 DOL Strategic Plan, the relevant sections for BLS can be found under: Strategic Goal 1 - A Prepared Workforce, Performance Goal 1A: Improve information available to decision-makers on labor market conditions, and price and productivity changes. Program Evaluations. The BLS has the first program evaluation under Goal 1 in the Future Evaluations section.
